I may be working at Medical City Dallas hospital and staying nearby. Is this a safe area?

I am a travel nurse and may be taking this hospital as my next assignment. I'm not familiar with Dallas at all so any input as to how safe the surrounding area is in terms of housing would be great!I may be working at Medical City Dallas hospital and staying nearby. Is this a safe area?
yes, this is a nice area. there are some very nice apartments North of the hospital off Park Central, South of LBJ, practically walking distance.

There is a trail that goes all the way to White Rock Lake, for walking, jogging, or biking.

There are apts. and town houses on Churchill, and Park Central, and Churchill and Coit Rd. and on Coit near Forest Ln. They are relatively new, and look very nice from the street.
