Tangled cost $260 million to make and Toy Story 3 cost $200 million to make. TS3 had more mainstream voice actors than Tangled and it was longer. I'm confused.Why did the movie Tangled have a bigger budget than Toy Story 3?
I would guess because Tangled used original characters that had to be created from scratch and Toy Story 3 already had all the characters (and some sets like Andy's room) modeled from the previous films.Why did the movie Tangled have a bigger budget than Toy Story 3?
It depends on the contracts of the actors. Maybe Tom Hanks and the others took a smaller salary compared to Tangled. And maybe the computers for Tangled needed some king of different software compared to Toy Story 3.Why did the movie Tangled have a bigger budget than Toy Story 3?
