Does anyone know of any programs or places that offer affordable temporary housing for parents with children staying in the hospital in the dallas area. My cousin just had twins 3 months premature and I'm looking for a place for her to stay in Dallas, Texas close to the hospital. Call the hospital information desk, they should be able to help you with that. . Dallas should have a Ronald Mcdonald house nearby for her to stay in.

Is there a ronald mc donald house in the area? That is what they are for, to help when families are in the hospital. Your friend should speak with the social worker from the hospital, they will be able to provide a lot of information for her, that is what they are there for. Usually the hospital has a "hotel" program that the parents can do. Ask the hospital about it. As for surrounding hotels....Google it!!!

I don't know about Dallas for sure but in Lubbock, we have the Ronald McDonald House which houses familes of children that are in the hospital. It looks like Dallas has one but I don't kow how close it is to Medical City Hospital. The link is below.
