Single mother with teen daughter who will be graduating in 5 month thinking of relocating to Dallas or Houston?

Looking for a new to newer apartment complex in a safe city that is active meaning outdoors upbeat and shops near by I have found a nursing job in Katy Houston. The company also has offices in Dallas. Im not sure of the cities. Anyone know anything about South Katy, Woodlands, Spring in Houston? Or Allen, Richardson, Plano and Mckinney in Dallas? I am African American and my daughter is Biracial so Im looking for a diverse city. A friend of mine also mentioned Medical City? I think that what its called. I live in Suburbs( Rancho Cucamonga California) now where there in a lot to do. So kinda looking for the same.. Welcome any replies. I would recommend Houston. It's quite diverse. They even have a Chinatown.

Houston also has a huge medical center, where you can find the Baylor, M.D Anderson, Methodist Hospital, Texas Children's, and lots more.



Or if you prefer a city smaller than Houston, Pearland is nearby that's also really great. It's about 15 to 20 minutes from Houston. There's an outdoor mall and some movie theaters. It's also very diverse. I know at least 4 or 5 apartment complexes in Pearland, all which are good. well both dallas and houston are very nice cities. Houston has the edge for diversity and healthcare. we have the medical center(the largest in the world) and we are very intergrated. My son is bi-racial and he fits in fine and we live on the northwest side of town in Copperfield.

Houston is awesome for you and your daughter. We are very diverse in culture and race. We have the biggest and best medical center which means more job opportunities for you. Our cost of living here is the most affordable too.
