I have the set of collectors Myrtlewood Stables horses and because they're made of plush, the plush soon becomes un-shiny and bumpy instead of smooth. If your horse is not dirty, you might want to try one of those animal brushes with the metal "hairs". I used to clean up stuffed toys for charity donation by washing in washing machine and brushing when dry.
