Does you child have a toy that they simply cannot be without?

Sophie does, she is 16mos.

I got a gift from a friend from Blackpool, its a minnie and a mickey soft toy from the disneystore and they say blackpool on their shirts.

They used to sit on my bed, but Soph hijacked them and now she has to have Minnie with her at all times lol.Does you child have a toy that they simply cannot be without?
Not yet but last night he got a hold of a dairy milk wrapper from a large bar of fruit and nut his Dad and I were munching on - my god he was going nuts over it and taking it away was like getting a bone off a dog! Always the cheapest things they love the best!
Not a toy, but Harry (17 mos) has a massive blanket, He calls it 'didden' God knows if it's him trying to say blanket, but we now call it 'didden' LOL.

He carrys it around withhim everywhere, I struggle like mad to get it off him to wash, the other day I washed it and he went and got it out of the washer before I pressed wash. Then he went and got it out the dryer lol.

Aren't kids funny eh! Atleast Sophie has a small toy lol Not dragging a great big blanket everywhere lolDoes you child have a toy that they simply cannot be without?
Not really, she's only 11 months old though. She loses everything that we ever take out with us though, she throws things on the floor and most of the time I dont realise until we get home! But she will only have avent dummies and she loses them constantly, costs me a fortune, cos its £4.99 for 2 in Wales!!!

My little brother used to have a rabbit, monkey and teddy soft toys that he had to take with him everywhere! My step-mum had about 10 of each incase he lost them lol...
Yes, my daughter has a dog eared Fimbo (yellow and green Fimble) she's 3 and has had it since she was born. I don't let her take him out anymore as I am worried she will lose him and I won't get her another one with 3 years worth of her smell on it.

The last time I let her take him out, I worried about fimbo as if it was a child!!Does you child have a toy that they simply cannot be without?
Not a toy, but a blankie. She calls it her "bankie" and will go get it out of her crib and carry it around with her. I will have to say it is veyr nice - soft and fuzzy on one side, silkie on the other. It ripped the other day but was mendable.....I don't know what we'll do when it gets lost or torn apart!
yea my little lad whos 17 mth loves a pen and his thomas the tank engine(soooo obsessed!).my 4 yr old daughter had a rabbitt teddy in a coat that she wont sleep wthout and has to go everywere.hes called tiddles!she had never took to anything till she was two and her dad won it in one of them machines you put money in and you have to use the buttons to move the hand inside to grab a teddy.she wouldnt let it go from there!
My son is two and he carries the matchbox size cars of Lightning McQueen, Chick and The King everywhere. He even sleeps with them. He is obsessed with the movie Cars! When my daughter was little (around two) she had a stuffed monkey named Henry and a stuffed dog named Dog that she carried until she was about 4. She is almost 15 and still has them put up.
omg yes! my 7 month old cannot be without his "ellie" she's an elephant with a squeaker and rattler attached. He absolutely loves her, whenever he is upset I bring in ellie and it tottaly changes him around. Gosh I don't know what I would do with out that ellie?

cheers!
My 8yr old cousin has a teddy called Radcliffe. He got it the day he was born, and will not sleep without it! Even Now! His brothers both got bears too (one is 4 and one is 6) all the same make, but different names - They don't care what toy they have, but he is very loyal to poor Radcliffe!
When my sister was a baby, my mum knitted a blanket for her. She's now 11 and can't sleep without this blanket, although it's in pieces because of how worn out it's become over the years. I'm always finding bits of it over the house.. lol.
Yes, my daughter has the fisher price "My first baby doll". She is only 5 months, but she will not sleep or travel in her car seat without this doll. I washed it two days ago and she was cranky all day until I gave it back to her.
I used to have a kermit the frog and little miss piggy that had to be in my hands at all times. One time I lost miss piggy outside in the snow and refused to sleep. My mom went and found it and came back to me sleeping. P:
My baby fell in love with one of his big brother's soft toy. It a big fluffy Sully from Monsters inc.

It's awful, dirty, unwashable and very irritating.

And he loves him sooooo much !

Small stuffed polar bear...name is simply "Bear" (most often pronounced "BAY-ah"). The thing goes EVERYwhere with Michael and usually has a fairly advanced germ culture on it (YUCK!) from what gets spilled on him, etc....hard to keep it white.
My oldest Tyler (he will be 4 next Wednesday) ALWAYS has to have his "bunny bear" when he goes to bed.

My youngest Riley is 12 months and isn't attached to anything at the moment.
My son is 6 and has 'teddy' who my sisters bought for him when he was born, just from mothercare, he doesnt take him everywhere, but he has to have him to sleep and if he stays anywhere he has to take him
Aw, I wish my boys were like that. They're multi-toy kinda boys LOL But John does always have to have his cloth with him. That is something he is addicted to. When he is feeling tired he holds it up to his face.
No, my son doesn't have a favourite toy that he takes everywhere. He does however always have to have a dummy with him as his comforter.
Mumble. Life without Mumble is impossible. He must sleep with him, and the nursery have one too so thankfully he thinks he always has him without risk of losing it!!

well Ryan is only 2 months old, but he has a star on his playgym that lights up to music and he seems to love it, it can always make him happy!!!
My little one loves this silly little finger puppet hedgehog. I think it is the texture, It's fuzzy on one side and smooth on the other. Oh man does he go wild for that thing!
Yes, not until lately but it is either his Ice Age book or a frog that sings.
yup, Reece has his grey elephant! sleeps with it, and has to have it everywhere!
