I am boycotting all made in china toys. Its gonna be a lego christmas over here!
I'm lucky, my son does not want alot of junk toys, he prefers books and art supplies.IN the light of the recent toy recalls how are you going to protect your children from dangerous toys?
Not buying any products that have red paint or are buy many made in china.IN the light of the recent toy recalls how are you going to protect your children from dangerous toys?
We will continue to buy as normal. We will watch our children closely and supervise their play. We will also watch for signs of lead poisoning. It should be obvious within days of play whether or not the toy has issues. We are not going to be freaked out by all of this. Especially since most of these toys have been out for several months. By Christmas, I expect that most of the "systematic search of inventories" should be finished.
I'm also staying away from toys made in china. Mattel (they own Fisher Price) has let me down time and time again. Friends in the know say Mattel is the evil empire of the toy industry. They don't care about lead. they just care that they were caught.
Explain that to my two-year-old who had to hand over his favorite Diego tool belt because it is on the death list.
