I'm doing a physics project on how a motorized toy works. There are two switches on the toy; one located on the bottom of the base near the battery and one where you press the foot. I need to know why the bottom switch has to be turned on before pressing the second switch in order for the toy to sing and dance. Also, how the two switches are connected. Thank you!Why does the switch near the battery of a toy have to be ON before pressing the 2nd switch in its foot?
The first switch sends power to the circuit and stops at the initiation switch or second switch in foot. When you press the foot the cycle will start and will run until it ends or is interrupted.
just turning it on will not start the toy and leaving it on does not denergize the circuit and the battery may be dead on next session...the battery is drained from parasitic loads in the balance of the circuit that are awaiting the GO switch in the foot
