We normally take the batteries out of everything before storing but this one slipped through! The batteries have leaked and eaten right through the little springs so the toy will not work as it can't get any power to it.
Is there any relatively simple way for me to make the toy go again? It was an expensive one, and I would love to save it if I can!
Thanks :)Batteries have leaked in a childs toy and eaten through the springs. Is there any easy way to fix this?
You can sandwich some pennies or dimes in the lost space to take up for the missing springs.
Crumpled aluminum foil can sometimes work too.
Or go to Radio Shack and buy something with the springs in it like a cheap battery pack and use those.Batteries have leaked in a childs toy and eaten through the springs. Is there any easy way to fix this?
Contact the manufacturer of the battery, and see it their no leak warrantee will replace the toy.
Steal the springs from a cheap/broken toy?
