Most likely, he will pass it. If you had a small dog, I would be a little more concerned. I would check every bowel movement he has to make sure he passes it. It may cause a blockage which might require surgery. If it does not come out in two or three days or he becomes lethargic, stops eating, drinking, not having bowel movements, then take him in.
In a few days your dog should have pooped it out or thrown it up if not then I would say you should call a vet. My dogs do this all the time with new toys and they throw it up later on that nite.So keep an eye on your dog for a little while, hopefully it will throw it up later on tonite. If not please call a vet.Can a large dog poop out a plastic toy eye?
I would suggest that you keep an eye on him, just to be sure.
However, if he starts acting differently, I would suggest that you take him to a vet.
Good luck and I hope I helped you!
He should poop it out just fine, but if you notice him having any problems, like straining, or bloody stool, or anything, take hime to the vet. but he should be fine. Can a large dog poop out a plastic toy eye?
Dogs poop out stuff like that all the time. Whether yours will, only time or a trip to the vet can tell.
Honestly, I am one of those type people that panic about anything that happens with my dogs but I don't think I would worry about that unless you notice any and I mean any vomiting or diarrhea. Even a small amount.
