What transformer toy do you recommend for a 4.5yr old?

I want to buy my son a transformer toy, probably Optimus Prime. He's only 4.5yrs old - looked at some of the reviews on youtube and they look quite fiddley and there are so many different types - movie leader, classics 20th movie, animated, movie leader class etc etc etc. Which one is the simpliest and most robust as a first transforming toy? What transformer toy do you recommend for a 4.5yr old?
they seem fiddley but my 4 yr boy loved the wee barricade and bumblebee toys, plus they were only about 3 quid each. They arecactually easy to do. We never really got him a big transformer tho sorry

If you want to buy your young son a Transformers toy and you want it to be an Optimus Prime, I recommend you consider an Activator figure from the new Transformers Animated series line. Cartoon Network airs the television series. The Activator figures feature one-touch transformation. While you might find them at various toy shops, I suggest you search on-line first. Wait till he is a little older, he will be able to enjoy them more. Perhaps buy him something educational for now, they need alot of mental and physical stimulation at such a young age. What transformer toy do you recommend for a 4.5yr old?
