Why is my dog crying and taking her toy everywhere ?

My dog is like always crying and she's obsessed with her toy. This has happened to me twice . This happens over night. And when I take it away from her she cries and starts panting.Why is my dog crying and taking her toy everywhere ?
If she's intact/not spayed, she's probably having a false pregnancy.
She might be coming into heat. Some female dogs look at a fav toy as a baby.
